Mrs. James Slattery, one of the early residents of Iosco died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Collins of Woodville, a few miles south of here. Death came last Tuesday night at the age of 92. Mrs. Slattery was born in 1829, and with her husband, who died eleven years ago, lived in Montreal, Canada, until 1878, when they moved to a farm in Iosco. Sixteen years ago they moved in to live with their daughter, Mrs. Frank Collins. Mrs. Slattery, in spite of her advanced age, retained full use of her faculties until shortly before her death, and continued in regular habits of living, always getting up for the family breakfast. She left three living daughters, Mrs. J. P. Morgan of Minneapolis, Mrs. E. D. Chase of Fairmont, and Mrs. Frank Collins of Woodville. Four children are dead.

W. W. Savage of Janesville, Mrs. J. P. Morgan, R. J. Morgan, Mrs. F. Besser and Mrs. A. Slattery of Minneapolis, A. F. Collins and W. W. Murphy of Faribault, and Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Chase of Fairmont came for the funeral. Services were held in the Sacred Heart church and burial in Iosco.
